The Paediatric Academic Health Sciences Centres are committed to providing timely access to quality care for paediatric patients within their catchment areas. In addition, representatives from these hospitals share their expertise with physicians across the province through the Extramural Paediatric Critical Care Response Team (PCCRT) Program. This program enables virtual consultations between paediatric intensivists and physicians in community hospitals to support patient care.
