O3CPR Intro Banner

About this Event

Join us at the next OC3PR webinar when we will discuss the emergence of COVID-19 variants and their role in shaping the course of the pandemic.

Presenter(s):

  • Dr. Gerald A. Evans, Chair, Division of Infectious Diseases, Professor of Medicine, Biomedical & Molecular Sciences and Pathology & Molecular Medicine, Queen’s University Medical Director, Infection Prevention & Control Kingston Health Sciences Centre

Objectives:

At the end of this session, the participants will have a working knowledge of:

  1. The epidemiology of the current variants of concern (VOC)
  2. The potential clinical relevance of VOCs
  3. The potential impact of VOCs on vaccine effectiveness.

We invite all multidisciplinary ICU teams to participate and ask that you please share this invite with your colleagues who are involved with critical care. To further share key learning points highlighted during each webinar, we encourage teams to schedule time to debrief and discuss how the information will inform or be incorporated into practices in your hospital. The webinars will also be recorded and made available on the CCSO website along with supporting documentation.

If you have any questions that you would like to submit ahead of the webinar please send these to [email protected] with the subject line “Clinical Webinar Series”.

We look forward to you joining us.
